For each page view we store: a random visit identifier, the page you landed on, the referring URL, campaign parameters in the link (utm_source, utm_campaign and similar), your browser's user-agent string, your accept-language header, your device category, and a coarse classification of whether the request looks like a real browser or automated traffic.
We do not store your IP address. We store a one-way salted hash of it, plus the first three octets (for example 203.0.113.0), which we use to spot automated traffic and to avoid counting the same machine repeatedly. The hash cannot be reversed back into your address.
If you tap the download button we record that the click happened, along with which button on the page it was. If you submit the form we store the email address you typed.
We use it for exactly one thing: sending you a single message when DollarSaver VPN becomes downloadable on Google Play. We do not sell it, rent it, share it with advertisers, or enrol you in a newsletter. Write to privacy@dollarsavervpn.com and we will delete it.
This page loads no external scripts, fonts, advertising pixels, or analytics services. The data described above is stored on our own infrastructure (servers in Canada, database hosted by Supabase). Nothing here is shared with an advertising network.
One cookie, named dsv. It holds the random visit identifier described above so that a click can be tied to the page view it came from. It expires after 24 hours and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Traffic records are kept for 12 months, then deleted. Email addresses are kept until the launch notice is sent, or until you ask us to remove yours.
If you are in the EU, UK, or a US state with a comparable privacy law, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at privacy@dollarsavervpn.com.
